Acronym Restaurants

This morning I was thinking about restaurants that go by acronyms or have acronym names. Generally these are larger chains that come to mind like:




International House of Pancakes (much better as IHOP)



California Pizza Kitchen - better as CPK??? Is this confusing with Cabbage Patch Kids?



TGI Friday's - a mix between acronym and a word


Kentucky Fried Chicken - I think it is a tad better as KFC but it is close


Burger King - In the lat few years they have done a lot of marketing of the BK acronym.

Feel free to add more to the list.

I was also wondering why other restaurants don't some are just one word like McDonalds, Applebees or Hooters so it would be silly to call them "M", "A" or "H" and it might be odd to call Olive Garden "OG" but Buffalo Wild Wings was BW3 in a previous life.
